The Report of the Research on the “Teaching and Learning” of Law Majors in the Universities of Shanxi Province

 

Abstract: The focus of this report is the investigation of teachers’ identifications from law majors in the universities of Shaanxi province, the evaluation of students, the understanding of national conditions and the principle of rule of law, the assessment of Chinese status quo of rule of law. The other focus is the investigation of the reception and understanding of law majors by the students, the conditions of law major students’ study, the comments on the curriculum of law majors and the evaluation of teaching activities of law majors.  Generally speaking, the report shows that the teachers from law majors in the universities of Shaanxi province have a relatively high professional ethnic standard and the deep understanding of humanities. On the other side, most students from law majors have their dreams and goals and they are supposed to be the qualified generation of Chinese characteristic socialism country under the rule of law. Both the teachers and students can objectively comment and evaluate Chinese status quo of rule of law and they have a strong faith of “Chinese Dream” and the future of rule of law. On the other hand, the teaching work has certain problems and the relevant administrations should guide and govern with certain policies and measures.
