Classroom Teaching Methods and Their Conditions for the Training of Legal Practical Skills

Abstract: Classroom teaching is an important part of the law students’ practical skills training. Determined by the characteristics of the teaching content and student learning in law schools, the teaching methods are decided by the following principles: choosing the teaching content in accordance with the goal of legal practical skills training, determining the focus of teaching by the position of the course in the curriculum. Classroom teaching should aim to stimulate students’ interest in learning and inspire students’ active thinking and only restrict the classroom teaching activities through teaching requirements. The conditions of the teaching method reform are: rigid examination system, small class teaching, a reasonable teaching evaluation system and teachers' workload evaluation system mainly through students’ review.
