Brief Study on International Cooperation for Education of Internationalized Legal Talents

    Abstract: In the context of economic globalization, the continuingly strengthened trend of globalization of law makes new demands on the national legal education and international legal talents. With the deepening of our nation’s reform, the increasing frequency of international exchanges and cooperation, the increasing strength of domestic enterprises expanding overseas markets and foreign enterprises expanding Chinese mainland markets, and the increasing amounts of complex international affairs, the State urgently needs a large number of legal talents who have the international perspective, foreign language ability, and the professional expertise. In order to foster the internationalized legal talents, our current legal education should adapt to the needs of national economic and social development, adhere to international educational philosophy, and take the road of internationalization. Clear cultivation objectives and specific objectives of the different levels for legal talents should be formulated. A forward-looking, scientific and rational, open teaching system should be set up. Advanced training model, curriculum system, teaching content and methods should be implemented, with more international cooperation and exchanges as well as an international evaluation and assessment mechanism.
