Executive Predominance and Academic Freedom in the Academic Evaluation

    Abstract:Academic evaluation plays an important role in the academic system. It directly influences the treatment of scholars on the one hand and fundamentally affects the future of the scholars on the other hand. In China, academic evaluation system has obvious characteristics of the executive predominance, with limited atmosphere of academic freedom. If to optimize the academic evaluation system, it should first dilute the characteristics of the executive predominance,so as to fully respect academic freedom, fully reflect the academic standards and give the autonomy of academic community full play.
