Study on National “Outstanding Young Jurists”

    Abstract: In order to give positive support to the growth of legal talents, China Law Society have conducted the activity of choosing “outstanding young jurists” for five times in 1995, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2011. This thesis is dedicated to the exploration of those 60 eminent jurists. The thesis is divided into three chapters. Chapter one is a preliminary analysis on the general information of previous award-winning jurists. Chapter two gives the readers a detailed information of the 60 jurists by conducting an all-round statistical analysis on the age structure, distribution of birthplace, major and social roles etc. of these previous award-winning jurists. The Third chapter probes into the deficiencies of selection process. The research on one hand wishes to promote legal research and to guide our daily law study and research.
